A Very Scenic Drive

Oregon Scenic Drive
We spent the entire day yesterday making a very scenic drive through one of my favorite parts of Oregon; along the Columbia River.
Now we’ve only got about one mile to go before we cross the Snake River and leave Oregon.
Idaho Scenic Drive
We’ll drive half way across southern Idaho before turning south at Twin Falls and head towards Nevada.
All of Idaho is pretty scenic; but I really enjoy the scenery east of Boise with it’s wide open views!
Nevada Scenic Drive
Once we cross into Nevada at Jackpot, we’ll continue south all the way to Ely before shutting down at the new Love’s Travel Stop.
Northern and central Nevada also has some incredibly scenic views, whether you’re travelling east-west on Interstate 80, or north-south on US Highway 93.

No, we’re not going to storm Area 51; I just thought you might be interested in where it is in relation to today’s journey.
