Ramblin Driver

I’m just a ramblin driver at the end of the day after watching and commenting on other drivers trying to park at the Flying J in Caldwell, Idaho.

Sometimes, the best entertainment is at a truck stop watching from my driver’s seat. It’s amazing, sometimes, watching other drivers trying to park at the end of the day.

I’m amazed, sometimes, at the decisions some drivers make with regards to choosing a parking spot. Since this happened while recording today’s outro, I just started ramblin and lost my train of thought.

Of course, I have to wonder how often I’ve been the spectacle that other drivers have watched.

Echo Canyon and Devil’s Slide

Anyway, we set out from the TA Travel Center near Fort Bridger, Wyoming and headed into Utah to enjoy some great scenery in and around Echo Canyon, including the always awesome Devil’s Slide rock formation on Interstate 84 near Morgan, Utah.

We crossed Utah and most of Idaho before stopping about 30 minutes short of Oregon. We’ll tackle Oregon tomorrow, including the Cabbage Hill descent.
