Today’s Adventure

From the mountains to Sacramento rush hour traffic; that’s what we have in store for us today.

After stopping for the night at the Pilot Travel Center in Central Point, Oregon last night, we’re continuing south into California.

First, we have to climb up to the Siskiyou Mountain Summit; the highest point on Interstate Highway 5.

The rain finally lets up but it’s still cloudy in Northern California.

After a rest break, we’ll get a great view of Mt Shasta rising above the clouds!

By the time we get to the Redding area, we’ll finally have some clear skies to enjoy.

Lunch Break in Lost Hills

Today we’ll finish our drive through California on our way to Phoenix.

A long lunch in Lost Hills and Southern California rush hour traffic will push the schedule back a bit and change our plans for the next few days.
