Sunset Over Ohio After a Rainy Drive Across Pennsylvania

Today's Journey It's a very rainy drive across Pennsylvania and eastern Ohio. Fortunately, the rain lets up and we get to see a nice sunset over Ohio. A Beautiful Day For a Pennsylvania Drive

Today's Journey We've only got about 90 miles left to drive from the Schneider terminal in Carlisle, Pennsylvania to make our delivery in Breinigsville. Once that's done, we'll head north to Pittston where we'll pick up a load bound for Minnesota. It's a beautiful day for a drive, so let's enjoy some nice Pennsylvania scenery. Tricky Trailer Troubles Cost Us Four Hours Yesterday

Today's Journey After picking up this load in Lexington yesterday, I discovered that the trailer had a problem with it's brake lights. By the time a service truck arrived and spent about 20 minutes finding and fixing the problem, four hours had been lost! We were only able to drive about 36 miles to the Mount Sterling Pilot Travel Center where, fortunately, they had some parking available. At least we've got a beautiful day … [Read more...]
